Located just outside the walls of Lincoln Castle, Castle View ranks top of the list. Their menu includes all of the classics exquisitely prepared – Biryanis, Tandoori Specials or the more obscure Ghandi special. The Spice Affair is another one in this list in Spalding. It’s located in The Red Lion Hotel in the towns Market Place. This restaurant specialises in Goan cuisine, which it describes as a combination of Arabian, Portuguese and native influences. Their Indo-Euro cuisine represents the taste of modern-day Goa. Born in Goa, the owner is passionate about promoting Goan food and introducing Indo-Portuguese cuisine to it’s customers. They offer Indian/Bangladeshi recipes and very accommodating if you’ve a special diet (i.e vegetarian, vegan, gluten free). The Everest Inn is located in the West Gate of Grantham. Another restaurant offering the best of Nepalese & Indian with a modern twist. The Everest Special Fish Parcel and Everest Lamb Shank Special are two of the signature dishes of the Everest Inn. The Bombay Cottage in Stamford is the towns 6th favourite accroding to Tripadvisor and was established in 1993, so it’s got a very good heritage. The menu has a wide selection of recipes to meet the needs of the most accomplished Indian food connoisseur! Including traditional clay oven baked dishes such as Duck Saslik or Prawn Modhu Jhinga a blend of herbs and spices with a touch of honey, ground almond, pistachio and coconut milk to create a fabulous dish. Jaaz Pavilion, the last, but by no means least in our pick of Lincolnshires Best Indian restaurants is in Messingham, just outside of Scunthorpe. Jaaz Pavillion serves Indian/Pakistan/Bangladeshi cuisine. They describe themselves as “serving the finest Indian cuisine in a sleek, contemporary setting and combining traditional favourites with the new wave of exciting flavours and innovative ideas sweeping out of the sub-continent, this is the apogee of Indian dining”.
